Thanks to everyone for your continued support.

Our 2nd team traveled to Ballycomoyle on Saturday for out 1st game of the Division 6 league. We saw a return to the playing field by some real past masters, Ian Cunningham and son Mattie lined out with Dan Plant and Gordan O Sullivan making an appearance off the bench, In what proved to be a close entertaining game we lost by a goal, 2 - 7 to 1 - 7, our goal scored by Cathal Moran,

Our Intermediate team hosted Mullingar Shamrocks on a fresh Sunday morning, this is our first game in Division 1 and was a real ding dong affair, at half time it was all square, Bridge 0-4, Mullingar 1-1, in the 2nd half the Bridge got off to a good start taking the game to Mullingar, with a goal scored by Francis Duffy after great work done by Paul Carey and a 2nd goal coming from Eoin Gorman putting the Bridge ahead by 4 pts with 10 minutes to go, then Mullingar showed their Senior pedigree by scoring the last 4 points to finish a draw. 2-6 to 1-9. A fair result and well done lads. Thanks to Jim Tock who refereed the game.
Training continues during the week lads and needs to be attended by all.

Kind Regards
Ger Gavin
